30% Boss, 25/10% Ele Weapon Glitch?

When I made a thread posting that the elemental weapons no longer give a % bonus, I read comments where
20/30% bossing damage did not work as well.

Can anyone else confirm this?

Someone mentioned that but an archmage tested an ele weapon and a dimon wand on snails with a result of the same blaze damage.

Oh, the ele wands definitely do not work.

The boss damage looks like it's PDrate, though. My buddy who has a (20% boss damage, 6% total damage) sword says it looked like it was working on Bigfoot but not on Zakum. That would fit in with Zakum having a much higher PDrate.

He says he's hitting 150k's on normal mobs but only 100k's on Zakum.
Zakum is a boss so he should be doing 171k's to it. (Assuming boss damage and total damage potentials do not stack).
However, Zakum has 40 PDrate, so that drops down to 102k, which is close enough to the 100k's he reports. If the boss damage weren't working at all, he'd be hitting 90k's.
He's a Hero, but I don't think he had free SP to put into Combat Mastery. If he had some points in it that changes the PDrate.
