Basil Brigade: MariettaRC

Decided to participate in this year's Basil Brigade, because... eh, why not? But I'm really proud of how this turned out, and as far as I could tell, it's pretty much done, sketch-wise. Just wondering if I can improve/fix it in any way. The hand holding the flag needs some work, that's all I know.

Interesting style
Too bad my monitor's with too much sunlight to see much of that image. Oh goddam summer.
But coming from you, i doubt it's not something awesome.

On the first one, the neck's a bit too long, maybe lower the head a bit. Arms might be a bit to thick. And yes, the flag holding hand needs some work. On the second one, the head's looks too small.

Everything else looks good. Good luck with the final image!

askfhsdh I KNEW that was what was wrong with the second one! That was bugging me for a while and I couldn't figure out what exactly was wrong with it. Thanks for the rest too, will definitely fix them when I get free time again (... seeing as I drew both of these when I should be studying for finals).

And I know, it's kinda what made me think about participating in this year's brigade. :3
