decent skill question

assume that i have a decent hyper body bottom and decent sharp eye glove, after wearing it, i will have decent skills... but if i unwear the EQ, would the decent hyper body or decent sharp eye still on my skill tab and last forever?

With SE, no, that is patched. With HB, yes if you equip an overall to take off the pants and make sure to never be completely overall or pantless.. After BB even that trick might get patched.

Just to clarify: if you equip an overall to take off the HB pants, and then equip another pair of pants, can you later change pants at will and still keep the skill (assuming the glitch is not patched)? Or do you always have to go through an overall if you want to change pants?

I have a DrK wife so I have no use for decent HB, therefore I do not know. But given how much people pay for HB pants renting, I shall assume you aint stuck with the replacemant pants/overall, it should be fine to switch as long as you do not go nude.

I have 2 pair of HB pants and will be testing this. Will report results after BB patch.

thx for the info, but after i switch into overall, if i took off my overall, or naked (no btm, top and overall is wearing), will the HB skill still be there?

SE dun dare to do it, because the glove (wa 11 uH, 3 line) is to expensive for me to do so rather than throw out... lol

If you go nude, you loose the skill. You need to have a pair of pants or an overall on at all times.

That's not true. Once you got rid of the hb pants on your legs, you are free to do whatever.

Oh really? If this is true I stand corrected. I thought going nude would count as unequiping the decent skill item.

First you must bind the skill to a key.
Then you must equip an overall (which causes your pants to be unequipped, as well as your top), or drop the pants directly from Equip window.
Then you can do whatever you want, apparently. Wear other pants, wear other overalls, wear nothing, the skill will still work if you press the key you put it on.

All that - pre bb. Nobody knows yet whether it will still work after bb. Want to volunteer to test it?

One thing I do know is that you do not have to hot key the skill. I did not do this with SE before switching gloves, back when you could simply switch. Not that it matters though, the outcome is the same.

Both things apply as unequipping the pants without putting other pants or double clicking the slot, so yeah. The skill only gets removed if you have hb pants on, and you unequip them the old fashined way, even if it's different hb pants from the ones you used.

Well I did some testing and yes you can still " Rent the skill ".
No it did not get removed from people who have the skill without the equip.
None of the buff are party buffs currently.
