The game won't work.

Problem: game won't run.
Details: neither by going to the gamelauncher.exe or via the site login will the game run. via the .exe, nothing happens at all, and the site will redirect to an orange page with the word maplestory on it, then redirect back to the main page, and nothing will have happened.

This all happened as of the first rollback that i've not been able to even run the game.

Well, sometimes for me it gets caught on hackshield. Try going into task manager and shutting down both processes and then trying again.

Hackshield doesn't even appear, so iuno what processes to end.

Did you check TM to make sure it wasn't running in the background? That's what happens to me. If not, then I don't know, sorry.

um in task manager check for hsupdate and maplestory.exe. If theyre there, close them. If it still doesnt work @_@ im at a loss.

Yup, MS was running in the BG; thanks for the help you two. some funny results and outcomes of the rollback and compensation i got though. =3
