The Infernal Lag

It's at it's worst point now. Out of 10 seconds, 8 seconds are the screen freezing; it renders the game impossible to play. It's something with my hardware, i'm almost sure at this point. I can play any other game with no issues, but with maple that is thrown out the window. I've updated all my drivers and even my BIOS, and nothing has changed. I'm just not sure what to do at this point. Any ideas?

what is your graphics card and do you have any custom settings?

You don't lag in any other game? Maplestory is allowed on your firewall(s)?

Are you running the game off the internet explorer browser? Or Mozilla?
