Too little control of the situation? Not sure if I understand that. You mean you casting while the mob is right on top of you? That's not how it works in a real boss fight lol. A real boss will hit for 4x your health (1-shot you) unless you're a tank.

Again, I have no real idea aout high level stuff, and it IS bloody boring to look at WoW battles on Youtube. What I ment with little control is that I get the feeling you die without a living tank, so basically all you do is stand in one spot and do you rotations, hoping the tanks aint gonna muck up and I suppose the healers? I hope I'm wrong or at least over simplify it.

Well at low levels you're not going to see many bosses without using the random dungeon feature (Is this even available to trials?).

I do believe it is, at least from what I remember when I played the trial. Not sure if that was the random dungeon feature or not, I was never the one to use the dungeon finder...

Tanks and healers do have more control over the fight but i would say you are over simplifying it. There is more too it that standing in one spot, most fights have little gimmicks for the dps and sometimes healers to work around. Most bosses have an attack that doesn't target one player, but an area of the room so you have to move from that or a move that gives people debuffs that have to be dealt with in certain ways. And even then, raiding isn't even close to all the game can offer. It kinda sounds like you might be more into PvP were you can be a lot more self reliant and have more control whether you win or lose.

There aren't many fights at all where you stand in one spot and go through a rotation.
