Just google "narcomantas" for more examples. They're commonly placed on bridges and walls where a lot of people can see them. It's the equivalent to posting, just in real life.

Erm...
can someone translate what they roughly say into english please? ._.

1st: Commander Diaz Saavera, commissary Pavon, commander Arias, the same that happened to the journalists will happen to you if you don't return us our money. Thoughtfully, The Line.

2nd: The operative group "Los Zetas" wants you, soldier or ex-soldier. We offer you a good salary, don't suffer abuse and hunger anymore. We won't give you "Maruchan" (Instant Soup) to eat. The ones who are interested, call to 867 1687423

My best guess is that they'd find out who removed it, kill them, then put the sign back up.

Good thing I live in Finland, best country in the world.

This list is clearly a sham. See number 18.

OT: Loose thanks for sharing this stuff. I really appreaciate seeing this from a non mainstream media source. Ive been to some of the worst places in the US as far as violence goes and in most of them it's not extremely hard to keep yourself safe as the voilence typically isnt directed randomly. In Mexico it seems like a clusterpineapple of hate.

EDIT: Excuse me, number 19.
