I want to make a live commentary.

Except I don't really know how. Can anyone share a list of programs and such that would capture both voice and video?

Fraps can. The only problem is that you'll have to set it up so it can pick up the sound from your mic.

Fraps does pick up the mic... sometimes. Not always. Do a test recording and see how it turns out first.
