Garage Kits.
#1
I'm actually interested in buying a couple GKs. Especially pre-painted Saya, Reimu (touhou), and Sakuya (touhou). I've only managed to find one decent site so far, which is: http://www.e2046.com/

They do sell pre-painted GKs, and they're not that expensive. Almost near middle-price range, similar to AmiAmi's prices for their typical PVCs. If anybody has bought or sought-out some GKs, what were your experiences like? I'm just curious, since I intend on getting my first GK around December.

Really thinking about obtaining a Suika:

It's like a regular figure, but people buy parts and make a figure out of it (shortened down version). Like for example, there's no official Saya figure, but people will go out of their way to make parts for it. When a user buys a GK, they have to normally assemble the figure, then paint it, etc. But then there are pre-painted GKs, and some are either broken down and you have to re-assemble, or there are ones that are assembled right out of the packaging. Sites like figure.fm , myfigurecollection.net , and e2046.com , you can actually view at some really well made GKs.

This is a GK, as an example:

...that's so expensive. As though I have ¥10000 just lying around. They do look really nice though.

Or wait, is it that much for the both of them? I think I'd just get the one with the dress because it doesn't look ridiculous.

I'm not sure, to be honest. Typical figures costs around 5k-8k, if it's of decent quality and of high demand. So I'm going to guess that's for just one Saya. GKs are a bit more complex because the person has to paint the figure after assembling it. Imagine a model-kit.
