How to get to Ice Ravine for Hoblin PQ?

The whole party has to be at Chief's Residence, and then they have to go to Ice Ravine.
Is there a secret portal my friends and I have been unable to find, or do we really have to walk or pay 45k for taxi each time?

Those are the only two ways. No secret portal.

Post-BB you can get (to most any PQ) with the Dimensional Mirror.

Wouldn't that mean Chief Resistance in Hoblin PQ case? So you still have to pay for taxi or walk.

It doesn't take long to walk to hoblin pq on Aran though combat step<3
