There was something really familiar about vindictus...

So ever since I started playing the closed beta of vindictus, I have have the feeling I have played this game before somehow. Which is weird because I've never really played any 3D rpg's quite like it on my computer anymore.

So one night, I couldn't sleep so I picked up my PSP which I haven't touched in months because I was bored with nothing else better to do. As I started up my PSP, the game that was inside was Monster Hunter Freedom United. I hardly ever played it, but now that I have seen the gameplay, I realised that it's almost like vindictus!

Then I realised ALOT of things from MHFU were alike from vindictus:

Cat Npc's - Devcat npc's
The battle system - Spam attack + Strong attack combos
The Mission system - You gotta select a battle mission before actualy playing
Crafting system which you need to get better gear
The bosses in MHFU are epicly hard when you start out, but it's the same idea as vindictus bosses.
Beat the crap outta monster corpses to get crafting etc items
You have a set ammount of resources before going into each map.
Traps and secondary items can be used.

So I was like "KEWL I GOTZ ME A VINDICTUS LOOK-ALIKE ON MY PSP! " well... not look-alike since it came out before Vindictus did.

... This makes me want to pick up my PSP and start playing again.

Yeah, um, a kinda lot of people noticed this.

I noticed this when I saw the slash animations and the screen stuttering during big attacks in a video. xD

You also use boats to travel to your mission destination in both games.
