Bishop Bossing post BB?
#1
With all the cool new stuff Bishops got in BB, how would they boss? Like, say, if I was fighting Zak, and when I'm not keeping my teammates alive or if I'm soloing or something what attacks would I use? Spam AR then throw in Gens every 30 seconds? Use Big Bang primarily, every now and then, or never? Constantly teleport in place to do damage with stun mastery? I've yet to see any vids Bishops fighting bosses so I really have no idea.

Bishops are being fit to their role as support. Bosses are getting beefed up along with the characters, so not much is changing... in the event there are more bishops than necessary, bahamut + big bang + angel ray ... genesis every now and then if your teammate's toasters of computers can handle the lag without them moaning and groaning... that about sums it up

Angel Ray has received a pretty big buff, and Bishops can deal some substantial damage, but they still play a support role for the most part.

Every class is NX based now, DPS wise, a heavy NX funded lvl130 Bishop with maxed Angel Ray will outdamage a lvl200 NX-less <Insert any high DPS -ATTACK- class here>.

For 3000 dollars you can have 3000 Magic Attack and 700k~999k damage Angel Ray shots...

This. No classes depend on themselves anymore, just the more NX you used with cubes on your gear.

That being said, classes will still have their "niche" so to speak, or situation, in which they excel in. Such as Corsairs against 1 monster, and Heroes against 3, in cases of equal or near same funding/cubing. Bishops happen to be more support oriented.

With Enrage, Heroes are no longer a primarily 3-mob attack class. Heroes are now the pure offensive Warrior class.

I know this, just a situation I could think of to make an example of what I meant. Besides, Heroes will still be one of the top ass kickers in groups of 2-3 with Brave Slash, at least when compared to other Warrior branches.
