Can I run SLI on this Mobo?
#1
So, this is going to be my motherboard.

For the PCI-E slots, it says there are two PCI Express 2.0 x16, but 1 is "at x4 mode, 2.5GT/s"

What does this mean, and does it matter if I later want to run SLI?

For a MB to support SLI the board must be SLI certified. Can you give more details into the brand, type, and model of MB?

Brand: Asus
Model: P7P55 LX

Doesn't say anything about SLI, so I'm going to assume that it doesn't support SLI. Meh.

The ASUS P7P55 LX is certified for ATi's CrossFire, not Nvidia's SLi. Sorry.
