First gMS HT Solo?
#61
CautionSin Wrote:All he did was post an image of one of the equips that aided him in this solo.

Just like now im going to say a random word: power-trip
It was a cautionary statement. Nothing more. And it was nowhere near power-tripping. He very well could have warned him, as the ever so subtle implication of that image was that he was using an illegitimate bow.

When something is implied, or the implication of something draws a non-favorable conclusion to a person. It is the person who decides their own conclusive opinion (about the image in this case). In other words, it was you and "the admin" (i may replace that with his SN later, since i cant think of it now), who implied that the image was suggestive or implied whatever it was you think it was implying. The person who posted the image could have posted it innocently in order to share with us the strength of mikelel's equips. You and "the admin" took something that wasn't at all wrong (if wrong is creating drama) and assumed that was the purpose of it. So, the power-trip i referred to was in regards to the "warning" for the nth time in this thread, when nothing wrong was done, based on "the admin's" own imagination.

Except for the fact that the "coughs" surrounding the image say otherwise. The way I see it is you're going to argue round and round about this rather than admit you're wrong in calling his reiteration a power-trip. Regardless it's not condusive to this thread, and would have been better left unsaid to begin with.

Lol. "I'm going to say he will argue forever, ignore what he said, substitute my own reasoning, and then try to act mature, and say this is off topic." I suppose I can say the same about you; I'd continue to argue, but you'll just pull the, "this isnt relevant your going to pretend your right" card. As for the coughs around the image, they say nothing, and hardly constitute an implied meaning of an image. (in case that doesnt make sense, since i already used the same logic in my previous post and you didnt understand) It isn't the "cough" or the image itself that implies a meaning, its the reader, that would be you.

Oh but you don't know how powerful it is from that screenshot. You can assume, viewer end discretion, but the general idea behind the screenshot states blankly that: "The bow has been enhanced 8 times." Anything more, ranging from OSOLUCKY to wtpHAX, is viewer's discretion, by your logic; and to assume that an 8star bow is strong without even knowing if it has been scrolled or not, potentialed or not, even above average or not, is more illogical to me than just outright acknowledging its *cough* luckiness.

Well obviously it has been scrolled, since you cant enhance an item which isnt, so even when you try to be logical you're not. And regardless of how it was scrolled, it has 8 enhancements, which contributed to the success of this solo in some way. Anyways, I think the real dispute originated with the thought that posting a screen shot of a bow that was enhanced 8 times (i have yet to see it for myself, but thats not important) in some way was creating "drama" or insinuating something about the solo'er. As for your assumptions that I was playing it off as lucky, etc, I never mentioned anything of the sort. I have no way of knowing how this bow was made, and once again it doesnt matter, a screen shot of an 8 enhancement bow does not in itself imply anything, it is the viewer that makes those conclusions (the 2 ppl before you, and possibly you). So ONCE AGAIN, there was nothing wrong (if wrong is creating drama or breaking some forum rule) with the "person who posted this screenshot" posting this screenshot. I won't explain it again, this is getting slightly ridiculous.

*Note: if anyone is breaking the "no drama" rule the admin set up its you after that post of yours.

And who knows who else will.

Surely the screen does cannot imply anything; a knife does not kill a man, it is another man who killed him with the knife. I don't see why that needs to be pointed out. The end result is that the man is still dead, and the forum still receives drama, as it already has. I would dare assume that is what the forum's moderation is supposed to prevent.

Oh and no, the drama I'm involved in is whether or not Ray is power-tripping, never have I discussed anything about the item's nature, if anything remotely close, the assumptions regarding it. That is at best off-topic.

Either way, I'm still confused about this:

(numbering corresponds to your paragraphs)

1. Obviously other ppl have seen the item, but i was referring to the ppl who have posted about the item and its irrelevant nature and whether it in itself caused any "drama." Since the whole reason i originally posted was to dispute the undeserved "warning" given to the poster of the image.

2. Well, the end result is an equip, how does that cause "drama?"

3. Could have fooled me, I think your confused about what your own first post on this thread after mine says. You were blatantly talking about the merit of the equip.

If you leave both the arms for last, you have to deal with being seduced while killing all three heads, which have a lot of hp compared to the rest of the parts, like over half of all of horntail's hp I think. Once you kill an arm, you won't get seduced at all on that arm's side as long as you don't cross the center.

I get it, I think.

I'm not hating at all but I wanted to bump this and let everyone know this was not a legit kill. The bowmaster is using "7 miss" godmode. 7 Miss Godmode is a hack that allows the user to be hit 1/7 times.

Not that I'm disagreeing with the legitimacy of the run, but do you have any actual proof to back this statement? I find it highly unlikely that such a highly washed player would need to use a "miss" hack.

Well considering the responses of people talking about this guy, you never know really. There used to be a couple people in Khaini who used some form of hacks even after being 19x / 200. Can they deal / live without them? Sure, but can the PLAYER live without them? Hack addition maybe?

I see it all the time at Himes. Rather disheartening...
