Riviera: The Promised Land
#1
Yeah, I'm playing through a few GBA games on VBA. Got a little bored of FFTA, so I decided to (finally) try Riviera (which has been sitting in my VBA folder for God knows how long now).

I'm at Chapter 4 now...still pretty nice, actually. I'm contemplating buying the UMD for my PSP, just for the Japanese voice-overs. :p

That would mean my wishlist now contains this, alongside P3P.

Okay, so has anyone played this?

p.s. Considering re-playing Golden Sun and Golden Sun: The Lost Age if I can get a GBA emulator that can link on the same PC.

I was wondering about this too.

I kinda want to get it, but I don't know about a GBA game port in my PSP when I could emulate it easily.

By the way, P3P is AWESOME SO F'UCKING AWESOME MY MAN GO GET IT NOW DAMMIT

My mom won't allow me to buy any games at this juncture. I'll have to wait till after my exams.

I probably won't be able to get the Limited Edition then, though.

I'm using OFW on my PSP. >.>

Black Square will crash my PSP if I used CFW.

Dualboot the PSP? If you have UMDs, games should work anyway with a 5.00 M33-6 with the M33-6.20 plugin.

Well, the Black Square UMD comes with some piracy-prevention crap that will crash the PSP if it's being run on a CFW. Plus, it will corrupt every single DJMAX save file you have...

OH, you're right man. Sucks. Well, this was about Riviera in the first place.

Yeah. Let's steer the ship back on course...

Anyhow, I dumped my Longbow before I could Skill UP Cierra with it for stats. Derp.

Whatever. Cierra's too slow for my liking. I'm sticking with Ein + Fia, Serene.

The thing I like most about this game is the naming. ;s
