So uhh yesterday I felt really bored....

And decided to write a love letter to a girl i haven't seen in years and ask her out on a date.

The letter- with the help of Will and Myles

 Spoiler

Her response:

Quote:Alex, this is all too sweet. I haven’t seen you in years nor have we spoken in years, I’m more than surprised to hear your confession. We’ve barely spoken at all so that’s why it’s hard to believe how much you actually like me. Let’s not take this to the public, I shall email you and we’ll discuss this further.

I'll be damned.
I know how long this girl waits before saying an answer.
It will be two weeks or more.
I dont WANNA WAIT TO WEEKS OR MORE.
I was hoping to get a quick rejection because I believe in the Gamblers Fallacy and I feel that the more rejections I can get the more likely the next one will be an acceptance.
I was hoping to apply my belief of the Gamblers Fallacy and apply it to college.
Im not sure if I even like this girl.
If I get a yes answer it puts me in a position which isn't comfortable.
If I get a no I wont be able to ask a girl out in college sooner.
If I get a yes and go on the date and like it it can only end tragically because I know I won't follow her to LA (Or will I)

Sigh someone slap me and tell me that the gamblers fallacy is a statistical lie that I know is not true. I need some sense beaten into me. SRSLY.

D'awww!

Take it one step at a time, man. Just be patient and await an answer, you'll know what to do. A lot can happen from point A to point B.

Your best option now is to wait it out for her response.

Personally, I wouldn't go for direct, sudden confessions. Those usually startle the girl and she'll reflex into a no.

U guyz dont understand me.
This entire ordeal is about mathematical statistics.
Unless this is the doing of my subconscious, I did this to try and see if I can quickly get a no answer to improve my odds at the next time.
I tried to burnscroll even though I know it doesn't work.
Unfortunately when I scrolled the scroll lit up but didn't show me the way it turned out yet.
What's worse is I burned scroll a chaos scroll instead of overall for def.

gambler's fallacy is a fact. if this lands, you can probably get 3 or 4 other girlfriends at the same time. heck, you could literally get +10 on your overall if ya know what i mean Wink

Wait, why would you even write a love letter to a girl you're not even sure you like? And if you're not even sure you like her, why do you give a crap?

[Edit] HAHA ok wow. Statistics. That's funny. Yes, I'm sure if you wrote random love letters to every female you ever knew in your life, maybe one would respond positively, but it might be the crazy old lady from the grocery store.

Nah, Im doing this occasionally so that when I find a girl I do like I can be sure I get a yes, but my way of reasoning is a statistical lie and this is my first time doing so and because of the response I got im now not sure what do deal with a yes. =(.

Psychological analysis will point to the opposite: the more "yes" you receive the more confident you will be the next time you ask someone out and more likely it will be the yes. The converse is also true: if you got turned down you will expect to be turned down the next time and be less confident. Girls always prefers confidence.

Cupid has a bow, not a crossbow. If someone shoots you with a crossbow it will penetrate you. But apparently you got shot by a double-barreled shotgun so now you're dead.

Why would you say you "believe in" the Gambler's Fallacy? It's not the same thing as saying you believe in a god, because this can be easily proven false. It's called a fallacy for a reason.

And you should feel even worse for upsetting this poor girl with your lies. If you're going to believe something retarded, at least don't bother others with it.

That's rather selfish or at least inconsiderate. Sure it's only about you if the girls (those that don't matter) will surely think of you as a joke, but if you take one second to consider that poor girl's feelings.

And Gambler's Fallacy is scientifically true, not universally true however, there's this thing called luck and this world that only Gods know. Whichever floats your boat.

...no. Gambler's Fallacy is false. Period. Assume you have a coin that someone else flipped 100 tiimes, came out all heads. You flipped the same coin without being told of that fact. If you knowing that the coin came out 100 times in-a-row heads changes the outcome of the flip, you're a psychic.

Also: certain food restrictions in the traditions that some people follow restricts them from eating poultry like cows or pigs and certain types of fish because when those cultures were formed those foods contained parasites and diseases in some cases and caused a great deal of harm. With modern-day food safety standards pork, beef and lobster can be safely consumed, but some of them still don't. People believe in things that aren't true (at the moment) because of a variety of psychological factors. Psychotic people, conspiracy theorists, political fundamentalists, etc. all believe in things that are scientifically false.

What part of writing a love letter to someone you don't love is fun? Watching her fall apart when she finds out?
