Potential drops

I see holy cross earrings everywhere in FM, so I'm guessing it's a very common drop by a certain monster.. Which monster do people generally farm for Holy Cross Earrings (lvl 55)?

Also what's a good monster to farm for capes? Green Naps aren't as common as I thought they would be >_>


I'd be hunting on either a lvl 121 Aran or a lvl 5x DB. Buuuut I can't really hunt things that kills me in two hits on my Aran because my computer lags (screen freezes every few sec).

Don't know if they're the best, but...

For capes, I head on over to Gobies which drop purple and black level 85 capes, though I haven't found a nice potentialed Cape of these yet.

For earrings, I go on over to Krus and Captains, they drop level 70 and 65 Earrings. Captains have also given me level 65 Capes and a pair of Chaos scrolls, Potential scrolls and Enhancement scrolls. Seriously, Captains are my best friends.

The holy cross earrings are coming from Grizzleys in Mu Lung. They drop em a LOT.

If you're ok with low level earrings, Wild Boars drop Metal Weighted Earrings (lv.20) at about a 1 in 50 rate. I found 4 with potential in half an hour.

Samihos (Three-tailed Foxes in KFT) drop them like candy.

Red Kents, Nest Golems, and Skeles drop lv 71+ earrings by the buttload
Next golems and newts drop a wide variety of Bowman, warrior and Pirate equips
Red kents drop Dragon toenails and loads of kataras.
Pap drops loads of armor to, mostly overalls and shoes though.
Zombie mushrooms drop loads of earrings to.
