No need to be a mood killer bro.

This.
I don't get what all the suprise is about, this is pretty much how I kill with my AM. It really isn't that hard. CL is just beautifully fast.

Only surprise to me is that he consistently managed to teleport out of the way of spawning Galloperas... I dunno how he reacts so quickly.
Then again last time I recorded a training video, I had ~2 minutes of ridiculous luck with avoiding getting hit. It wasn't exactly representative but it made my Hermit look good so I posted it anyway.

@ Rick and Delicae.
I don't know about GMS, but in MSEA mages are ultimate-whores, so seeing a mage train differently while managing to avoid what comes at him ( which admittedly isn't that many attacks from the horsies)... well i like

i find that simply avoiding attacks altogether is awesome o_O I like(d) how buccaneers could do this too. it keeps people on their toes (rush--> mob-->rush-->mob/stun--> rush--> kill) and makes training a lot more fun than: rush--> spamspamspamspam--> rush-->spamspamspamspam

This is what I was thinking, but I didn't want to actually say it. Looks nice, but nothing special really.

Well, the fact remains that the internet shows that he is the only mapler who can perform this feat so far. For those who said that this is nothing special, then show us something or someone outperforming him. Period.

What...feat? He's just training with Chain Lightning. Give me an I/L Archmage and I can make a similar video.

With a level 130 AM, with level 17 chain lightning and a lightning ewand, unfunded clean gear(and a clean zakum helm) I can hit about 23k damage max with chain ligtning, and 17k at the lowest.
Doing this with a mage is pretty easy as well.
I'm sorry but....this mage is not ready.....

Both of these videos are bad examples, the mages CLEARLY overleveled the mobs they were killing, and the territory was made towards their advantage, I don't know why people think this is skilled. To any mage out there: This should come as second nature when playing as a mage, if you can't do this when you're in the level 140 range, I reccomend you pick a different job.
the reason why mages today spam ultimates is simply because it's faster than this. Not because they lack the skill to do it, it's just that this is really slow. I also posted why that character shouldn't have kept using ice demon(the second video) in the respective thread it was originally posted in. All of these ''super awesome control'' videos I've ever seen of mages, are of them doing it in places that give them the terrortial advantage, and where the mobs clearly under level them, the only exception to this is the fire/poison videos I've seen, which I cannot judge how that class plays because I haven't played one myself.
I ask you, can you show me a video of a MAGE(not a bishop) in an equal level mobbing area, without having a territory advantage, do this well and not get hit? I can easily not get hit in time temple, but the maps are completely straight and I can't look ''cool'' while teleporting, I bet that means I have bad control.Jump casting CL is also a waste of time when I can just telecast it and dodge a lot of attacks while doing it.

?
Having played a cleric into 3rd job before 3rd job was released, an FP into 4th job before 4th job was released and an I/L into 14x, I can tell you that the only "control" to a magician class is simply well timed telecast. Ask any F/P who trained on grim phantom watches and they'll tell you how difficult it can be to telecast compo arrow while teleporting behind the grim (kind of like a mage-style assulter without getting hit at the end). Of course, this was before NLC where elixirs were 7k+ and getting hit was pretty serious business.

So you're telling me, using seal in a sophisticated way, other than that simply poisoning the mobs and killing them in 1 hit with magic claw is considered ''control''?
I guess that means I'm a king of control for using ice strike on Kru's before jumping down to kill them in 1-2 hits with my chain lightning.
Even as someone who has barely played a F/P mage, I could easily do this, but then again, I'm pretty used to playing by disabling the mobs actions first. Also, this is a swimming area, while it may not be territory friendly, it is quite easy to swim around like that.
Not only that, but this video was put into fast motion to make it look a little cooler.
This only furthers my belief that doing this kind of stuff, should be second nature with a mage to start with.
