I really don't like that all mosters do a SHIETLOAD of damage now if you don't wear heavy armor...
200 damage from a lvl 30 monster is no exception...

I don't know if it's a smart move from Nexon to implement the high damage stuff... but for beginning players without 100 million mesos to fund themselves it's crap... :/

I don't know if I would start playing Maplestory now if I was a new player... constantly having to push the repot button every 3 seconds = not good gameplay, especially at lower levels... :/

The pot cooldown is annoying, so I always go for the higher healing potions.

The 110 def I get from the 1st job def skill helps a lot. STR adds directly to defense now, instead of the round-about bullpomegranate it use to. Still, I go form 300 something defense to 400 and my touch damage goes from 120 to 70.

My warrior takes 77 touch from Rombots. What are you playing as, Devil? The pot cooldown is annoying.

Vampiire should allow me to train cheap (it heals while attacking), but I first have to max Vampire/Critical/Booster/Mastery for it to be effective... :/

Train cheap? If you loot at all you'll never run out of potions. At least until 2nd job, easily. Make a Dexless warrior if you want to avoid touch damage. It will reduce it, give you massive HP, and you'll hit everything just as much as an archer.

Pot cooldown? Did Nexon Korea implement a global pot cooldown, or are they still spammable?

At least in KMS (not KMST), you can spam them, I think he means the pot lag.

There's no pot cooldown, it's just general pot lag. Considering he's connecting all the way to Korea, you're bound to have some type of lag.

Now the sauna robe/stompers/PAC/BWG people can be shunned for not just looking noob but having noob damage/defenses. It is a glorious time to be playing a class that didn't conform to this min/max get-up.

I just need to get to lvl 120 to craft the equips and wear them. Which won't happen until the update, because I'm not going to play an AM whose DPS will quadruple and a CB who doesn't have FJ and SP for the next 6 months.

That's the 2nd problem, I'm connecting from Europe, so I loot about 1 item per second... (in gMS I loot about 3 item / sec).

Yes, if I would loot everything, I would be VERY rich (droprates of everything are like 4x gMS droprates, also for equips, but equip NPC prices are only 25% of current gMS prices, so it's the same...).

But yeah, maybe i'll make a max wdef Dawn Warrior... not sure yet...

P.S. There is no pot cooldown in kMS, Hazzy meant pot lag instead.

I connect from the States. Use the snail pet after large mobs.

If I hold down the potion key, it only uses one per time interval. Lag is a late start, but this delay is constant, even after 3 or 4 seconds of holding down the pot key.

It's half a second. Enough to make Red potions useless after you have 150 HP. Orange after you have 300, White after you have 1k, and so on. I don't remember that from previous patches.

So it seems they're cracking down on those who fail the botchecks: one or two month ban for failing to respond within the minute it gives you. This is especially a problem in the Dojo and in Minidungeons. To remedy a botcheck, just relog.

No idea. I don't really wanna try it out.

While getting my white belt from the dojo (for 10 more wdef... lol...) I got about 30 botchecks... I anwered a LOT of them wrong, so there is no direct ban, and all they do is KEEP coming back... just relog to get rid of them and take it easy on the dojo (5 bosses per 2 minutes).

So yeah, don't expect to make a full dojo career in kMS if you can't read korean... it's just not possible... white belt is best one you can get i think... (200 points).
