81 CB Training?

I know there's a bandit training guide - It cuts off at 80
I know there's a general thief thread, the 8x section consists of FoG (5-6% an hour) and Kents (listed 3 times)

Is there seriously no where else to train? I either get hit for millions in pots or hit for 6% an hour?

I think my equip is a little above average, (I like to think that) and I have level 23ish BoT (In the process of maxing this)

Where can I train then? (keeping in mind I don't want to merchant and buy leech, merchant and buy 2x, or merchant and use meso explosion)

You could try gobies if you have some mesarz to explode, but based on your 23 BoT, I don't think gobies are right for you.

Try wolf spiders.

Like the guy above me suggested, try wolf spiders. You'll die a lot at first, though.

at 81, you can go kents, but I think that rapes pots, well actually anything does as a CB, lol. old school gobying mite break even in pot use w/ % an hour, or if you get lucky w/ mesos (from selling drops) Im pretty sure bombing peak or dreamy ghost would be good? ( sorry, havent used these new maps before for bombing, I hit 12x b4 himes came out, So im just guessing x_x) WS would be as expensive as goby's imo, I was just barely breaking even at 11x when they came out lol..(w/o pots...., yes MG can be expensive) Anyway for non meso training the only place u can really go is mulung pirates or the map before himes (kappas)? lol cb is a really expensive class

I know an awesome place, if you've got the skills and the balls and the mesos to do it.

Try the hidden room behind the signpost in the upper level of Forgotten Path (last map before jumpquest in crimsonwood). It spawns something like 10 of those idiotic elderwraiths at a time, as well as headless horsemen regularly. The elderwraiths hit for a little over 2k if you don't have meso guard, so care is needed - also, they mindlessly chase you without you hitting them, and have no attacks aside from wandering into you. That means its really great to use Dark Sight/Drop/ME here... you can just ds, drop, watch mindless wraiths swarm you as you do it, move away, get out of ds, boom, repeat. They give 2480exp per kill on 1x. You'll have to experiment on the amount of mesos to drop, because I don't know.
Headless horseman is an easy 300,000 exp if you're good with dark sight and ME (that is, know to stay the hell away from it) and spawns often as far as i can tell.

Not that I have experience as an 8x, but I hear Wolf Spiders are good if you can afford the pots (ilbis may cover that xd). Especially with BoT.

Other than that, if you really wanna level you'll have to blow up 4m+ a level at Gobies.

Yeah, I guess some people don't read the first post (I'm not using ME and I'm not using 2x exp) but I liked some of the suggestions. I've been doing the Wolf Spider quest every 3 days for the free Leaf Crystals, but it usually is terrible on pots and doesn't seem like anymore then 15% an hour. I guess that could be pretty good, I don't know.

I'll try Kents, they would be a change. Same with the Pirates in Mu Lung.

I heard Forest of Golem isn't bad; meso wise and exp wise. From 81 till whenever you max shadow shifter, you're gonna be losing mesos.

k. I leveled once and did some timing.

With 21 BoT: Golems and Wolf Spiders were the same, at a dull 9% an hour
With 24 BoT: Wolf Spiders are now 13% an hour, with a ton less pot burning then before. I can also now do the pit without Meso Explosion.

Hmm....might be slow but try gryphons?
