The Watercolour Painting Quest

What drops the watercolours for each drawing? (Mushroom, Octopus, Yeti) I've been killing many various monsters and have yet to see a watercolour thingy drop.

I found purple ones at jr. yetis, blue ones at big yetis.

What Im curious about is how many I need to paint the yeti. My slate is still blank after applying the 10-20 water colors I've found.

Funny; I've seen a few of them dropping off the both styles of cornian & rash.

You need 80 total watercolors to finish the whole thing, I got all of mine from skeles.

I finally started finding some after a while. The Orange mushroom one definitely takes less than 80, perhaps 30.

It depends on what watercolour you use, iirc.

Each has four phases.
The Orange Mushroom (orange tube) takes 5 for each phase. 20 total.
The Yeti (blue tube) takes 20 for each phase. 80 total.
Haven't done the Octopus.
I've gotten 1000 and 800 Leaves from the Orange Mushroom portrait. 800 from the Yeti. If you just want to get Maple Leaves, use low level characters to save tiime.

From what I've seen, the color of the paint doesn't matter, since Duals drop blue and purple.
My Yetis take 80 total to finish, and my Octos take 40 total.

I've tested this thoroughly.

Colour does not matter

20 for orange mushroom
40 for octopus
80 for yeti.

Best place to hunt in my experience is the zombie mushroom MD.
