Okay, I didn't exactly know what to title this thread to actually describe the issue, because good god, it's gotten way out of hand.
First things first, this issue is my friend's, not mine, but he doesn't come to Southperry, and we don't know what else to do.
Okay, so about, em, say, about 6-7 weeks ago, my friend Sea finally decided to drop Internet Explorer in favor of Firefox, something I suggested he should do. Unfortunately, he had Internet Explorer remember all his password and login information, and never really bothered to remember them himself--or even write it down. Most idiotic move ever, but eh, at least he'll learn a valuable lesson. This was also after we had that mandatory thing where we all had to change our passwords, so he changed his from something relatively simple, to something very complex.
Well, in a state of panic, he requested a password reset. He went to check his email for the email that it said it sent him, but he didn't get anything. He shrugged it off thinking that maybe it just took some time. So the next day, he checked his email again, still wasn't there. He got Internet Explorer again, and it remembered his password, so he felt relieved. Sadly, however, since he had already requested a password reset, the password no longer worked and he still wasn't getting the email.
So cut to now, he still hasn't gotten the password reset confirmation email. He's tried again to make it send numerous times, but it never comes.
I've offered him so many solutions--maybe you're checking the wrong email, maybe it's marking it as spam, maybe it's just plain not accepting emails from Nexon, etc. He tried them all--he's checked every email he has, he made his Hotmail see "nexon.net" as a good sender or whatever, and we've just run out of ideas.
Like I mentioned previously, he uses Hotmail and I've known there have been some problems with it in the past, but I figured they were fixed by now. Can anyone help us out, give us something to work with or what not? He's starting to fear that he'll have to start all over again and doesn't know if he even wants to do that.
