Dear Mapler,

Cassandra, Maple World Fortuneteller Extraordinaire requests the honor of your presence at a party celebrating the auspicious occasion of MapleStory’s fifth anniversary.

The MapleStory Fifth Anniversary Party will run from May 5th to June 15th. The celebration will include a variety of fun-filled, rewarding events including:

Portrait of a Popular Monster
Please speak with me once per day every day between May 5 and June 15. You will receive one of three empty canvases and be asked to hunt monsters near your level to receive one of three watercolor paints. Use them on your canvas to reveal you monster. Completed works may be turned in to me to receive a 5th Anniversary Gift Box and some fabulous 5th Anniversary prizes!



Cassandra’s Party Favors!
It wouldn’t be a party without party favors and for this celebration, I have arranged for guests to receive a Maple Gage!



Simply hunt monsters to get some Maple Leaves, then turn them in to the Maple Administrator for new 5th Anniversary scrolls!

The Maple Administrator will trade for higher level Maple anniversary weapons. Simply bring in your old Maple anniversary weapons and Maple Leaves.

Gauge. It's a common dictionary word, you could've just looked it up.

Oh great, all players 71+ have to go to the awesomely popular EL NATH to hunt monsters around our level (Yeti, yeah right).

And we a get a Maple Kandayo looking glove with no stats at all.

Well, at least you can still redeem lvl 64 weapons and scroll them. I much much much prefer doing Speed Quizzes for the leaves though, hunting monster is just UGH.

That's not how I understood it.
The picture is of a yeti, but any 71+ mob will drop the colors.

Seeing as they're going to be 'drawn' on an in-game canvas like this rainbow week thing, I'm sure it's just those 3 monsters. Not like octopus is a level 31+ monster.


data shows that there are 70% gauge scrolls that can add 2 to stats, and 2 to attack. Nice way to make some cheap int gloves?

I really, really, hope you're wrong. Or that the quest is so easy that everyone will be in and out of that map in a minute or two.

Why does that "Get some NX" sound more like a command then a suggestion...

If I remember correctly from the Korean event, the Glove has different stats for the different tiers of quests (or was it just the scrolls...? one of the two.), and you simply have to fight monsters that are in that level range to get the items needed to draw the accompanying pictures (Mushroom, Octopus, and Yeti).
