My computer wont recognize my usb adapter.
#1
Im not sure if this goes here, but still...

Well, I normnally upload new data into my micro sd every like 2 days or so, today I wanyed to put something on it and I plug in my usb adapter, then plug in the micro sd but my computer wont show the SD or give me the options to open it, the sd seems to work fine since the light it has turns on every time I plug it in.

Any ideas on how to fix this/what could have caused this?

Any help is apreciated

Doesn't show up under device manager? (when you have it plugged in of course)

By this, XL meant: Right click "My Computer" icon -> Manage -> "Device Manager" under "System Tools" directory.

Or, try restarting your computer.
That might restart the adapter or something.
Or try other USB Hub.

Nope it doesnt :/

I also pluged it into another computer, but it doesnt recognize it either.
Also I think it got "burnt" on the inside, as it gets really hot when I plug it in anything.
Time to buy a new one >_<
