Small screen laptop + maple
#1
I was thinking of playing maple again but my other computer died and I have to use a "mini laptop?" (or whatever their name is). Will the small screen be an issue or will I be fine? If there are issues, are there ways to "fix" them, or whatever, so that I can play? If so, it would be nice if you can tell me how to fix or if there's a guide anywhere.
Thanks.

Wouldn't be a problem, maple runs on 800x600, might be performance issues though.

Its fine, i use my 10 inch EeePC all the time. Just dont play in window mode, youll lose sight of your Hp/MP and stuff.

It's fine if you move the start bar to the right, and drag the window border kinda off the top of the screen.

I do it cause my eeepc is 1024x600 and it really stretches Maple >_>

It's not powerful enough since the evan patch though, pretty bad framerates all the time, dropping to abysmal whenever I see those godawful dragons. If I'm at the storage in Leafre and one comes along I just have to sit and wait for him to leave cause I can't move or click anything. Cross my fingers they die out in popularity once the event is over and I can actually play in popular maps.

Whats your RAM? Ive never had an issue with frame rates, even with Evan. I go in the fm and everything. Theres just a slight jump in the video as a new item or something has to be accessed, but thats about it and its minimal.

Well I downloaded and installed but got this while trying to run: error 2147467259. I tried to find the solution, it says its only a resolution problem that could be easily fixed. I changed resolution to the one it said there but nothing happened, I keep getting the same error. Maybe its just a perfomance issue. I guess I'll have to wait until next month when I get a new computer. If you think I could still try something else let me know. Thanks a lot again for your help.
