looking for your advice SP.
see, im in the mood to get a new game for my 360. i picked up a used copy of halo 3 last week, and really the only reason i got it was for forge. ive played the game, as well as ODST, over at a friend of mine's place, and personally the plot just became atrocious from 2 onward. Halo's plot was just something that kept me wanting to play, wanting to see what would happen. I liked being able to see things from the perspective of the elites, but really, it was poorly executed IMO in 3 with the arbiter. so much more couldve been done that just having him act as a tag-along to the master chief's story. but i digress.
While i was in gamestop, i saw that this particular one had a copy of tekken 6, and it made me remember the nights id spend at home when i was younger and id play the older tekken games. i was thinking of getting that, then and there, but i had come for halo 3 only, and i only had enough for that.
but seeing as how this new job is, basically a sure thing, but still im going to make sure to do good on the interview, i decided the first thing id get with my first pay would be a new game. i was thinking of getting Tekken, but i suddenly remembered that a soul calibur game was also out for the 360. the last one i played was for the PS2, and i fell in love with Chronicles of the Sword mode. Being able to create your own character and go through a side-story involving warring nations, and see the game from a new angle, i mustve gone through that alone 4 times. But i remember most always choosing Zasalamel when id play the regular game, and even at one point picking the create-a-class that offered his weapon and move set. Maybe its my bias towards scythes, or maybe its the character, but i remember that and Seigfried being my favorite characters.
So SP, i guess what im trying to say is: If you had to pick one of those games, Tekken 6 or Soul Calibur 4, which'd you pick?
