Nope. In fact, I probably have the best hair in my family.

I don't remember if my dad was bald, or was just a skin-head, but all I remember him having was a bald head in his mid 40's. Most males on my mom's side started losing hair in their 50's. I still have a while to enjoy mine i guess.

I'm nowhere near going bald, I have way too much hair actually XD
As Maspan said though, I'll probably have gray hair before my 30s xD

My father has a receding hairline, though both sets of grandparents have fabulous hair. With the rule of thumb being that phenotypes typically skip generations, I'm excited to have a full head of hair my whole life, in either sea-swept dirty blonde or Gandalf/Silver Fox white .

My step dad has a bald spot on his top of his hair.

I'm 19, and my hair is just fine (bits of my hair fall though). I decide to grow my hair longer meaning that I look awful with short hair and even worse with bald hair, but one thing that really annoys me that certain jobs can't allow most boys/men to have long hair. >_>

Its strange too, that I have a head full of strong hair, since I had a few years when i was ~8 where I was pulling my hair out from depression/anger and the fact that it is full and strong now is surprising when I think about it. Also, thin+receding hairlines is very common on my dads side of the family, but it hasnt affected me yet or at all (dad a very thin hair, uncle has bald top as well as grandpa).

Stop looking at your dad; it's your mom's genes that determine your hair loss.

my grandmother has thinning hair, though she started thinning around 50.

I'm 19 and I still have a full head of hair. neither side of my family has hair loss issues, so I think I'm in the clear. ....Though both sides seem to grey out when they're in their late 20's / early 30's. Blah.

I'm 21 and no one in either side of my family has gray hair or is bald, and neither am I. My friend's hair (age 22) is half gray now, though. And according to my Dad, his best friend went completely bald by 26.

Straight people don't lose hair. /kidding

Neither side of my family has ever shown hair loss problems, though I did once find a single gray strand.
