Nexon.net - Timed out while loading jQuery.
#1
I think this is some kind of java problem, but I'm not too sure since I do not see any problems with java anywhere else other than Nexon.net.. When the Evan sneak peak website was open, I would always get an error that said "Timed out while loading jQuery." every 5 to 10 seconds. I didn't care what Nexon America had to say about Evan, so I didn't care too much about this error. Now, I'll get this problem while I'm actually playing, since I have no reason to close Firefox or the Nexon tab, its getting annoying.. I also went to the Mabinogi website, since its been forever since I played and I would also get a adobe flash player/java error and the "Timed out while loading jQuery." error. I need a little bit of help navigating Nexon.net...

I've seen that error message many times while changing passwords or charging NX or whatever, but it never seemed to matter. I assumed that it was due to NoScript blocking something, but maybe not. I never start the game from the site, so it doesn't really bother me.

I'm getting the error too, it seems. I just re-downloaded because I accidentally deleted Maple while cleaning out some files, and got on just fine after that. When I try to get back on again even with gamelauncher, it goes through their logo images before closing off and giving me this notice. I also tried logging into the Nexon site and starting from there, but same results. I also attempted to re-download that DirectX file to see if it had disappeared after the re-download. No such luck. Would love to know how to fix this lovely problem.

JQuery is a javascript library, NEXON gets lazy and links it directly from Google's reserve, instead of downloading the latest version and keeping it on their own servers. So when you load Nexon's page, you are also connecting to google's servers and trying to request for that JQuery library. If for some reason. google doens't work for you at the time, or took too long to load, you would get that error.

So idk if it would help, but try going to the following URL and see if your browser would cache the items.
http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jqu...ery.min.js

You can put this into firefox to see if it actually cached or not: about:cache?device=disk

I followed the link and it seems it was cached. I asked a friend in the IT business, and he told me to delete my browsing history to see if it would help. The link itself leads to 'File not found', so I'm not sure what else to do. Googled the error and they pretty much said to reinstall, but I'd like not to do that.
