requesting good fun strategic team based FPS

In addition to looking for an MMO, I am looking for a good fun strategic team based FPS

It should NOT be primarily a deathmatch free for all game

The gameplay should be in depth and require team coordination, communication, and strategy to win

ATK/DEF, CTF, and other ATK DEF gametypes are a bonus

F2P or P2P, i dont really care.

Any suggestions?

TF2 is a PC game.

....it is basically the best PC team game you're ever going to get in your pitiful, tiny, life. I got it for free from a fellow Southperryan and I never regretted it. Always updates, dedicated servers, low system requirements, free DLCs, the company is funny and good....yeah. Heck, it has so many official modes, and custom modes, and zombie modes, you're never going to get old of it.

Hell, L4D is a PC game, too. That is the best team game you're going to play. No doubts about it. Same company as TF2.

MW2 and Bad Company are basically "you're on your own" games, even though they do have Capture the Flag and crap (well, at least less teamwork than TF2 and L4D).

Not to mention Bad Company 2 kills PCs, so unless you just bought a really good computer, you can't really run it.

For the record, I own TF2, Played it and loved it. Heard great things about l4d, love valve, yadda yadda yadda. My parents seem to have something against valve games. Other games, if i tell them it requires team work, OK GO FOR IT, TF2? With my parents, logic doesnt exist... i got an ok to play warsow, but i just dont like the deathmatch style of it..

its crazy with them...... i can play battlefield heroes, battalion wars, but not tf2, or l4d.. it makes no sense

MW2 is your best bet, then, unless you have a crazy computer than can run Battlefield Bad Company.

Global Agenda is TF2 only with organized clans and stuff and in third person.

flying sniper spies look awesome then....

Dunno. B2P is just room-based PvP and PvE standalone which is probably okay, paying $15/mo gets you all the clan stuff a la EVE Online. It looks like it might be fun to me.

If you want a really good, team based FPS, get a PS3 and get MAG.
