I hope they'll end up gone and everything is rolled back a good day or so.

I think what will actually happen is either nexon will just patch the glitch, removing nothing, or only get rid of a small amount of illegit chaos scrolls by that random banning of theirs and leave the rest of them and all equips scrolled with them just as they are.

There are many reasons not to do a rollback, I don't think Nexon has ever made one. Correct me otherwise.

Say, I just purchased 17k NX yesterday and used them, plus I got my 4 hours of my 10 days 2x exp card, if they roll back a whole 24 hours my NX items will be gone... just as my money already sent through Paypal. Plus you can't be sure that people started hacking just 24 hours ago, ever since the event started I saw chaos scrolls slowly dropping, 5m, 10m, 20m less... then just today the pomegranate hit the fan, it seems the hack was made public. Rollbacking 24 hours would probably fix nothing, and Rollbacking a few days would just create too much rage for Nexon to handle.

What are they gonna do? Probably delete any stacks of 50+ Chaos Scrolls on a single character and never talk about it, ever. That's their usual way of doing things.

Considering they shut down the MTS before the SC, I think a good number of the scrolls in there are going to go puff. As for those not in mts, it wont hurt to just leave them there. Rolling back the servers is an absolutely bad thing for them to do both a a controller of the game, and as a company. Basically, itd be a giant FUCK YOU to everyone and anyone who achieved anything, whether related to the chaos scrolls or not. No, Nexon just needs to let the servers empty out the scrolls that are still held in the servers, and remove a large chunk of the hacked scrolls from MTS.

if theres a roll back ill be happy that ill be getting my meso back but i will be angry for losing all the lvl up i did.

I'm not sure but my friend said perhaps they will make the Chaos Scrolls trade-locked (the ones that come from the Event), so no one can profit off them anymore. But I think they might just remove the majority of them, and some people will get banned. We'll see.
