Removing shin scars?

I have quite a few scars on my shin (lower leg) most of which resulted from a bad knock or mosquito bites. For some reason they've not faded or anything for months. Do you guys know of any way to remove them? I've heard of creams and stuff but I was wondering if there's any homemade or easier remedy around.

The best way to get rid of scars is to dig them out. Using a serrated blade, specifically. You need to go really deep. Use ice.

You forgot that you need a hammer to pound the serrated blade in to get really deep. How could you forget something like that?
