A Poem of Great ... what?
#1
Something is ailing me. I do not know what it is. It is a curse that blesses the soul, a light that cherishes the darkness. How can I put words to something that seems to not even have a face?

It is useless to think about it, tiresome to ponder about, but I cannot stop! It is like a halo supported by devil horns, the way that it can both make you happy and miserable at the same time. A cold that warms the heart. It is dreadful, awe-inspiring, heavy-hearted and care-free. A thing that can be captured in one word that needs to be descriped with thousands. A book that never ends, a fire that never gives warmth!

Time and time again it will continue on, even if the waters of Life end. Something that perhaps a todler can explain, but which the Einsteins of this generation seem to miss. Like the firing of the cannon, you would be all of a sudden attentive, but it can also put you at ease. Just what is this?!

Why do I think about the face that can describe it so soothingly, so modestly, that it is almost too much to bear? Everytime I look into her face, I have to turn my head to not be blinded. I can understand anyone that I talk to, anybody I see I can almost x-ray into their thoughts, but this person...! Is this what it really is? The fire that does not need air, the towel that never dampens, the Forbidden Apple which I would so willingly eat?

It must be love! But... I know it wouldn't be that easy to talk to the person that makes me feel like this, for can I forget that the Light needs the Darkness?
