..looking through my 1,000+ DVDs filled with anime, I found a couple "Tenchi Muyo!" movies. I watched one last night (dubbed, since I watched the subbed version already), and I thought to myself.. "HMMM, I should rewatch the series again". So here I am now, watching the anime.

I remember that week. I came home from school and was gonna go watch some toonami and then this Miguzi pomegranate came on. I was like "Where my Toonami at?" so i waited for it to come on... It never came back. Soon I realized it came on late on SATURDAYs when my parentals hogged the televisions for their movies. I was sad.

God they had everything on that show: DBZ reruns, DBZ GT, DRAGONBALL, They had that one show with SHINING GUNDAM, Zoids was the pomegranate too back then. I miss my DBZ re runs. I only watch Cartoon Network for Adult swim (mostly Family Guy) and Boomerrang cause they have the good stuff from way back. L> captain Planet and Thundercats Smile

Most of Toonami sucked. The only thing I liked on it was DBZ.

I never knew until just recently that the guy who voiced Tom is the same guy who voiced Spike in Cowboy Bebop. That same guy voiced in ALL OF THESE VIDEO GAMES:

The average price of an anime DVD is ~$30, so I went with that. Don't entirely know how cheap they get on the internet.

hes done many voices, all over the place. anime, games, even some tv commercials iirc. guy gets around.

Actually, 80% of my anime DVDs, I obtained by:

a) Going to the local libraries
b) Borrowing an anime DVD
c) Burn it with a DVD burner on my computer
d) Done.

That's how I got most of my DVDs. The other 20%, I either bought legally on the web, or ..in stores. Though the ones I bought were like... LOLlovehina, and whatever. Just for fun. If I get only a portion of episodes on a DVD, I'm usually irked. So I always have a complete 'season' of a certain anime, or an entire collection. YYH & FMA, I have the entire thing on sets of DVDs.

Proud to say, Escaflowne was the first anime series I obtained by using this method.

Seriously though, I miss Toonami. CNReal is garbage.

Burning ~800 DVDs..... you is crazy. I still place the money you spent on all that at around $2-3k at the least.

*HAI GUYS, NAME ME THIS OLD CARTOON. It involved magicians who used something to transform, where the main character is female, and at the end of the show they always show her real life self doing a magic trick. The bad guys were a guy and a girl who can combine into a 2-headed dragon.

That's not including 'movies', stuff like ... CRANK, Underworld: Rise of the Lycans, movies like that. lolol. Actually, a small portion of my room has stacks of DVDs. I love watching movies and anime, so I always have stuff I like on DVDs. I've been doing this for 4 years. . . .

Reminds me of the time I had a modded PS1 that could play burned PS1 games. I had a huge stack of PS1 games too. I loved Digimon World 1, 2, and 3. But 2 got boring after a while. ._.; 3 was the sh't.

oh, as for Zoids. I remembered when they had Chaotic Century on too. That and New Century Zero. I enjoyed both. I only liked NCZ for the Berserk Fury though. :/ . . . Otherwise, I prefer Chaotic Century for the story. Though there IS a timeline to it. CC came waaaaaaay before NCZ. In fact, during the last battle, Berserk Fury and Liger Zero fought on that uhhh... I forgot what's-it's-name.. that fought against the Death Saurer in the final episode of CC. Same area. If you paid attention to the details.
