Competition, do you enjoy it? Y/N.

Seriously. Do you enjoy competition? Whether it be:

-Sports
-Gaming
-Educationally
-whatever

Do you enjoy the feeling of dominating over someone to show your pride or dedication? Or do you prefer it for the sportsmanship? Do you just need or want a rival to push yourself further? Why or why not.

Personally, I enjoy competition. If I lose, I lose. I don't whine about it. I analyze the situation and try to overcome it the next time it happens. This is partly why I enjoyed playing:

-Pokemon Netbattle
-competitive SSBM
-MapleStory (at one point in time)

Downfall here is, some people are whiners. When they lose, they make up excuses about it to make themselves feel cooler, as if they never lost. Then there are the braggarts that types "LOL fgt, I won" when they win a small match, assuming that they're in the big-leagues. I enjoy competition, because to me, it's a battle of wits and skills.

Only when it's not forced on me. Gym sports sucked. I hated every one of them, even though i was decent at every single one.

I think this is the odd one out in such context. Regardless, I don't mind competition in gaming, though I far prefer "competing" against people who don't take it to heart, like myself; when I play street hockey, it's with such people. I don't like competition at work because it hampers the teamwork required for keeping up a successful restaurant. Competition in education, I couldn't care less about. My grades are great and I don't feel superior to anyone else because of it.

I like the feeling of competition. It makes me push myself harder. The only thing is, I only enjoy it when it's with someone that's at my level. It's no fun when I get sniped 8 consecutive times in MW2, nor is it fun when I get almost perfect on a test, and everyone else almost fails.

Competing with friends is the best though. It's competition, but you know when to draw the line.

I like being competitive sometimes, but I can't play most game competitively because I joke around to much. Either way, my main goal is for everyone to have a great time. Though that doesn't mean I don't win, I just have a creative way of competing. So, I guess that I like competing against myself, to get better and learn an own style, build my own path.

But, to be honest, I tend to prefer being the coach of a competitor. I like teaching wild stuff and then watching my apprentice win or get far in competitions. Sort of what I've doing recently with my brother in Tatsunoko vs. Capcom.

I can put up a great and exciting fight in most games, but that's just what makes me lose most of the time. I try and do some gimmicky and crazy, wild things that make me end up losing, but makes the crowd go "Holy crap, that was awesome!"

Most of the games I can play competitively are fighting games, like the Smash series, Capcom Vs series, Mario Karts and a couple of shooters.

Mm I like competitiveness to an extent, and then people can take it too far at times o_O

I was goalie on my soccer team we lost 14-0 because the team gave up on defense, and I was left to get the crap kicked out of me. So it depends, I actually enjoyed that game, because I actually had things to do in it. Say I'm a crap goalie whatever, I don't really care.

I like competition, I loved the thrill of having someone or something to work against, but I seem to of lost that motivation. I don't really know why, probably because I'm left with a stupid injury that will always stay with me.

Gaming wise, not so much. Maplestory just plain pisses me off when it comes to ksers and what not, I don't find that fun, I find it annoyingly pointless, though I have done Mario Kart online and I found it very fun to race real people. +_+ I haven't tried anything else online yet, I wanna try SSBB online, but I suck so bad at it xD

Education wise, No never and no. I've never been competitive about school work, or projects. They just bore me to tears. Hence why I got average grades at school, but eh, some people are naturally good at studying, me not so much.

I love competition when I win around half the time. Too much makes me feel like an ass, too little makes me feel like crap/rage fit.
Competition is the only reason I ever leveled any of my Maple characters past 50. xP
