From what I understand, most of killing the two machine bosses is standing behind/below them and ducking to avoid the seducing missiles from the first boss.

I second this request though. I'd like to know what you have to do for each boss (especially the one that you drop the chandelier on, and Coreblaze). I see sign-up mules in my future.

Bergamot: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sCKZj-dodw4
The regular way: -To defeat Bergamot, it would be a good idea to have over 13,200 HP with Hyper Body, although that is not needed. -If you're a ranged character that can't survive a single hit, it would be wise to duck at the far left corner of the map where you can't get hit at all and let the melee characters take care of it (this is how we did it in JapanMS). -For those attacking, make sure you listen out for Bergamot to attack. If you don't listen, you risk getting hit by one of its attacks. Every time you hear a "chuchink" type of noise, DUCK as soon as possible. -On the third body, Bergamot will start spawning special Over Lords. These Over Lords can inflict Zombify, Weakness, Darkness and Seduce. Be very careful of these! If you see one spawn, it's best to kill it IMMEDIATELY or your entire party can die. The Cheap Way: -This way is NOT ranged attack friendly! All ranged attackers should report to the bottom left side of the map, where you cannot get hit if someone screws up. In this way, though, Bergamot will NOT attack, so ranged classes can just chill while the melee classes take the boss down. -All Melee attackers and Bishops/Mages should go to the bottom right of the map, where they will constantly be tanking damage from the body. NOTE : YOU NEED 13,200 OR MORE HP TO SURVIVE THE TOUCH DAMAGE! -Bishops should just stand there and spam heal, while the melee classes spam their attacks away and destroy the boss. Akihabara Dunas: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gQLG2h5pUjo (Although Damage Reflect is not shown in this video, it does cast it, so beware of it. Note that this video is old -- Dunas was changed since.) -Ranged classes should be cautious of this boss, as it casts damage reflect, which can reflect 15,000 damage. -Damage Reflect is casted just about every 60 seconds, so after every Damage Reflect, ranged attackers can come up to the top of the map, where Dunas is, and attack for roughly 55 seconds. Don't attack too long or you risk dying. -Melee classes should have enough HP to stay at the top and constantly attack. A Bishop can easily stay at the top -- where they will NOT get hit at all -- and heal the melee attackers. Nibelung: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cb8AZQVUqms The Real Way : -This is very similar to Bergamot. All ranged attackers should stay to the left so they can avoid getting hit by the higher damages. Nibelung's attacks do no more than about 5,000 damage, so with HB, any ranged class should be able to survive. -Melee attackers do what you always do, but try to avoid getting too close or you risk taking up to 15k damage with Nibelung's physical damage. -Nibelung will spawn Mavericks which can inflict status effects, just like the Over Lords in the Bergamot fight, so melee classes should try taking those out before they cause trouble. Like Zakum, a person should be assigned to killing the Mavericks. -Like Bergamot, you can duck to avoid Nibelung's attacks, so be cautious of the sounds when Nibelung attacks. The Cheap Way: -This is just like the Bergamot way... -As soon as you enter the map, have EVERYONE go to the bottom right corner of the map. Here, you will only take up to around 2,200 damage from the map's physical damage. With this constant damage, you will NOT get hit by Nibelung's attacks, so have a Bishop stand there and heal everyone in the party as everyone else attacks. -Have a melee character who can tank Nibelung's body damage to go to the left side of the map and spawn Nibelung. Demonic Beast: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rSKJQesv5Po -It is essential for a Viper/Buccaneer to use Screw Punch to CONSTANTLY keep the Demonic Beast KBed in one of the corners. -Ranged classes should stay out of reach of the magic attacks from the Demonic Beast -- It can deal up to around 18k damage. -Melee classes should be able to tank ~8k damage or ~18k damage from the touch and magic attacks. -Just keep the Demonic Beast pinned against the wall and have everyone else attack. Shibuya Dunas: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3AZedgRBeZc (YOU DO NOT HAVE TO FIGHT THE IMPERIAL GUARDS! Just ignore them!) -At the Dunas Unit (the little flying thingy), have a warrior who can tank 9k or higher damage use rush to keep Dunas away from everyone attacking. -EVERYONE should go to the bottom left as they enter and press up on the teleports on the broken building so they can get to the higher platforms. -It would be a good idea to have a Viper who has snatch (any level works) to use Super Transform and Snatch to keep the Dunas Unit in place while everyone else attacks. -Once the Dunas Unit is defeated, have the warrior who was KBing Dunas follow Dunas to the bottom right and have that warrior KB Dunas into the bottom right corner. -VIPERS WILL BE NEEDED FOR THIS PART --- Have the Viper use Screw Punch to constantly KB Dunas against the wall as everyone else attacks. MAKE SURE YOUR DARK KNIGHT KNOWS TO USE HB IMMEDIATELY WHEN DUNAS USES DISPEL! Dunas casts Dispel roughly every 5~10 seconds, so be VERY CAUTIOUS of Dispel. Other than dispel, the fight is very easy. Keep Dunas pinned and have every other class attack. If Dunas is NOT kept pinned, the ranged classes WILL die, as Dunas deals up to 12k damage. Royal Guard/Imperial Guard and Core Blaze: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=joU6Mh-I8_w -The first part to this is pretty tricky... Have EVERYONE who can't take more than 18k damage go to the top left part of the map. There will be a portal to where you can get to the top of the map very easily. All classes should stay there if you cannot survive. -Have a warrior or anyone who can tank 18k damage push the Royal Guard under the Chandelier. When it's under it, have a ranged class attack the chandelier with a BASIC attack to make it fall on the Royal Guard, dealing 25,000,000 damage. Once you get it down to about 5% health, its health bar will disappear, so you're going to have to have a warrior pin it and have everyone else attack it. Once it's defeated, continue to the next stage. -At the lazers, if you can take 12,500 or so damage, GO UP THE LEFT SIDE. If you touch the center or the lazers on the right, you will take 16k ~ 18k damage. If you cannot take 12k damage, have a mage or warrior who can take 18k damage go through the lazers, go in the little safe areas and hit the switch to turn the lazers on the right side off temporarily. This will give people a short time to get part of the way up. You will have to keep doing this as you go up the right side. Once you've managed to get to the top, just keep jumping until you're sent into the Core Blaze map. -At Core Blaze, all you have to do is stand on the one platform and attack. Core Blaze does NOT attack back. It will ONLY spawn Mavericks. Be careful of the Mavericks, though. They have an attack that can send you flying into Core Blaze's body, which will hit you for ~28k damage. Make sure you bring a Bishop or a few All Cures with you as well, as the Mavericks inflict status effects. That's all I know for now. I've never been to Aufheben, so I can't inquire about that. Also, sorry for the not-so-professional type of guide. It's early morning and I'm lazy.

It's early morning and I'm lazy. No, that was great. Thank you. But also somewhat disheartening. I didn't know that all the bosses except Nibelung had ridiculous damage like that. I gotta figure out a way that Carlos (180 MM) and I can kill Core Blaze with just us and whatever mules we bring in. Are you sure the lasers do a maximum of 12.5 on the left? The exact number would be appreciated. I doubt you know, but I'll ask anyway. Do you know if Battleship can duck under Burgamont's missiles? It tends to be slightly bigger than a normal ducking character, so I'm a little worried about that.

KaidaTan Wrote:No, that was great. Thank you. Battle Ship might not be a good idea at Bergamot. The best thing you can do is leech a kill. If you really want to attack, though, I would suggest only using attacks like Rapid Fire and Burst Fire, even though they're not very good for attacking bosses at that level. lol Yeah, the lazers on the left side don't even go as high as 13k. I think the max damage I've taken from the lazers was around 12.3k. Just take a few Power Elixirs and pot up as you get hit. If you can't survive them, use the other side and have someone turn off the lazers for the ones who can't take as much damage. @Steve : No problem.

Few more things:
1) What's the ideal group of classes to get together for traversing/bossing through neo tokyo? I want to go with my guild, and we have a mix of classes, but i don't know which ones are the most effective. (there's already me, and i already knew vipers were the s'hit at neo tokyo) 2) What's the best boss to kill for money? 3) What's the best boss to kill for exp? (pretty sure it's core blaze, just want to make sure)

Answer : Heroes Heroes Heroes! Lol. My group consisted of 3 Heroes, 1 Dark Knight, 3 Night Lords, 2 Bishops, 1 Ice Lighting Mage, 2 Bowmasters, 2 Vipers, and some other randoms that joined randomly. lol A Dark Knight would be needed for just about EVERYTHING. The Heroes would be good for bossing, but Paladins will work equally well. Bishops are needed, of course, and the Night Lords are good for DPS. The Ice Mage was good for luring the Royal Guard to the spot under the chandelier, and the two Vipers were good for keeping the non-stationary bosses pinned. 2) What's the best boss to kill for money? Answer : Any of them work, really. They all can give pretty good scroll drops and equip drops. 3) What's the best boss to kill for exp? (pretty sure it's core blaze, just want to make sure) Answer : The best for EXP, of course, is Core Blaze.

Which of the bosses have sign-ups? How many people do you need to go into each one? And what channels can you do them in?

All of them have signups except Royal Guard/Core Blaze, and you can do them in any channel. I believe you need 6 minimum to go into any of them. Core Blaze is evil though, 6 is the max and min.

Is it just me, or does it look like it's possible for you to avoid the lazers by waiting, since they seem to pulse?

KaidaTan Wrote:Wait, how does Core Blaze know how many people are going in if there's no sign-up? It's like an instanced dungeon. You get in a group of 6 people and when the leader enters, if another party tries to enter after you, they will NOT get in with you. @DualReaver : You can, but that's also a pain in the ass. The floating effect doesn't give you much freedom.
