Can you delete a married character?
#1
I know for a fact, characters in families need to leave before being deleted. Was wondering if that is true for Married characters as well, or do they need to be divorced first.

Confirmation would be great!

And also, is it possible to lock your wedding ring? I guess you can see where this is going now hah.

I know for sure you can't delete a married character. You have to get divorce first. Breaking the ring costs 500k.

I don't know if you can lock a wedding ring or what happens if you try to break it.

I'm not entirely sure whether or not my maple wife had to divorce with my char before she deleted that char of hers, but chances are it was possible back then, at least before the family system and the whole cannot-delete-char-before-you-cut-ties thing.

Ugh, I can easily confirm this by saying that you can delete a married character but unless Nexon fixed this, it'll screw over the character it's married with.

When I got hacked, the hacker deleted my Bandit, who was married to my best friend's Hunter. She's unable to make a ring to remarry because it says "You're already married!" and she can't break the marriage because it also says "You're not married yet!"

Kind of a mini-rant because this has never been fixed even after several tickets but it's also to answer your question. In short: You can, but it might screw things up.

EDIT: Okay, I'm actually not sure because I didn't think the family ties thing would do the same to marriage... but this happened before that update. So yeah.

So, I guess locking your wedding ring would be the ultimate anti-deletion protection huh?

EDIT:

I'm unfamiliar with the Divorce system. So would locking a ring actually prevent you from Divorcing, or will the NPC take it away regardless.

EDIT#2:

GAH, nexon changed it so that you can delete familied Members now. So Now I'm not sure of anything.
