AIM - Main Window Never Closes
#1
Ever.
Use to close when I told it to. Now it doesn't.
What changed? Win7 reinstall and HD wipe.

I realize this might be worded poorly, so here's some images.

This is AIM at the bottom with the Main window and a chat window open.
If I close the chat window, it stays highlighted and minimized. If I maximize it and hit the 'x' at the top right, it doesn't change at all.
It USE to close. Aim would run in the background.
I'm OCD and it's pissing me off.

Anyone know how to fix this? Frown

MSN does the same thing now.

Try this, but with AIM instead. I'm assuming it's the same concept.

Didn't work. :[

oh, and apparently if I pin AIM to the taskbar and run it, I get two icons down there. "Always stack" is on. :|

Like that?

Anyone know how to fix that? Both open the MSN window. If I close one of them, MSN closes fully.

No, there's two separate groups of AIM icons down there. One is like your image, the other is just a normal pinned program.

I ended up installiing AIM 6.9.17(or something), and it works fine now. :\

That's what my MSN is doing. One's essentially my display picture (dynamic one), and the other is the client.

The picture you posted only has one group of MSN windows. I had two: One that looks just like yours, and the other as if AIM wasn't running.
