Has anyone participated in them?

I'm trying to make the diary entries as well as I can. Rolleyes

EDIT: 290 words. I'd post it, but not right now. It does suck, though.

Since I am completely uncreative, I only participated in Event 1. Sad

Shietty Nexon America always discriminates against European players with these events (we live outside their service area...) because sending a prize to Europe costs extra money to send to their paying customers if they might win... what a frickin fail reason... :')

Cheap ass fail fckrs... still they -do- like getting our euro's for NX... greedy fcks... Rolleyes

Uh, hello? You have no reason to complain. You should be thankful they continue to let you play instead of IP banning your account along with the rest of them. :')

Couldn't someone who's completely unrelated to Maplestory end up winning because he was "tweeting" about how he ate a popsicle the other day?

Or, how does that work?
I never freaking even understood the purpose of twittering. Is it like...blogging but without taking time to actually blog?.........

Whatever, no event there really seems worth it. If a Maplestory mousepad they can custom make one on line for $1, not sure if anyone actually wants a MS plushie (of what, mushmom?...)

Then again, I have Pokemon plushies around my room, maybe someone is that into MS that they'd be dying for one.

because your not suppose to be even able to play in GMS...

On topic: I can't write anything "epic" that doesn't satisfy me that isn't under 1500 words....

I'm tempted to submit this kick ass "son of Narcian" drawing i did for the Black mage contest but "good drawings" don't seem to win those contest >.>

They can't ban players that charged NX to them, even if NX is not refundable, you still bought their product, so they have to obey to their own ToS at the time of charging to provide us with their product. If they breach the access of NX products by their customers, they act against the law. You can't take away a product that is already bought by someone.

If they would ban me, and are willing to breach their ToS, they'll have to refund me, because they're the ones that breach the ToS that say NX is not refundable. NX would become refundable at that time. Willingly from Nexon's own side or by force of the law, you have to obey the law when you start asking money for a service. That also goes for Nexon...

Anyway, I have the idea this is getting a bit oftopic...

Last reaction, because this is derailing this thread, so please stop replying on this

They're bound by the ToS -at the time of charging-, not the current one (one of the reasons I stopped charging NX... long ago...), the ToS at the time of my first charge, which were VERY small, and said nothing about service area's, not refunding NX, etc... This is one of the reasons Nexon allows players from Europe from "that period" still to play... they don't want to get sued and lose money...

Besides that, NX cards are not sold in Europe... We have to use paypal...

Don't think so, Tim. You went off topic first by bringing this up. Nothing you said has anything to do with Nexon America's refusal to award prizes to Europe. Nexon considers NX a "donation" so therefore they can ban the rest of the European accounts if they feel like it. Besides, if your argument was true, they wouldn't permanently ban hacker accounts with charged NX, yet they do.

Not to mention that Nexon explicitly mentions (repeatedly!) that they reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. You're not entitled to play GMS just because you gave them some money. You (Devil) should count your lucky stars that you're not stuck playing EMS and stop complaining about being out of the service area for pretty worthless prizes.

Also you know that saying DON'T RESPOND TO THIS is a great way to further derail a topic right? Sorry but you don't get the last word just because you want to.

Nexon reserves the right to ban anyone without any reason. Technically, the account isn't even "your" property. Your NX purchases are not real life purchases. I was going to bring up the point about perma bans and NX chargers, but Mark already did that for me.

Nexon America doesn't have to let you play their version of Maplestory. There's a European version made for a reason. Just because they lifted the bans they were planning on keeping on you guys doesn't mean they still consider you guys their target players. You can play, but they're not going to go out of their way to grab European players when there's a version made specifically for European players.
