Where do you guys go to hang out?

BombsAway Wrote:I stopped going out regularly a while ago, but when I did it was mostly either clubbing or partying (pre-drink-drinking) and other lady things. During the day the activities were more like shopping or going to the beach.

Recently I've started taking a couple hours out on thursday/friday/saturday night to grab a drink with a friend but that's about it. I just stopped caring about all of that stuff.
That's a lie and you know it.

We all know you hang out on IRC.

That's the other 160 hours a week, of course.

This is all I'm saying about this here. Just felt that I should have a right to say this here.

Yes. FINALLY. Took you long enough. That's the spirit. You're always far too mellow, speak up more or people are going to walk all over you, as illustrated in the well-publicized ex-flatmate battle.

My house or my dorm room (which I have to myself this year). I rarely go outside, and it's literally almost never for "fun." My friends went to a different college, so I hardly see them anymore. We never hung out anywhere besides our houses, anyway.

I don't do this hanging out thing. I am happiest with my computer and kitties (which sadly I do not get at the dorms).

Maybe a tad bit, considering that it's normal for a young-adult male to do such activities. Only difference here is I go out and shop for clothes more than the typical male since I like to be in-trend with jeans.

I hang with my hands in my pants most of the time.

I stay at home, go to my sister's, (attempt to) sit on the brick wall outside of the house or hang out at Subway/language centre cafe when we're out. The current weather means I'm mostly hanging out indoors. I'm happiest in my room with the company of the cat and my little heater though.

Other than my friends houses we don't have a consistent "go to" place.
We go eat at a different place almost everytime...
I guess The Flying Monkey would be the only place I go to regularly for "stuff".
But thats like artsy stuff and shows...Glitter

I usually go to a friend's house or to some sort of cafe or a bookstore/library. Lately my friends and I have been hanging out at a Panera Bread near campus.

I met a bunch of my friends while playing DDR/Initial D, so we'd naturally congregate at the arcade, and sometimes at the IHOP two blocks away from the arcade. Yay pancakes for dinner! Blush

Nowadays we just hang out at each others' houses, or at this really cheap Chinese restaurant a block away from my apartment. Mmmm beef chow fun...

Panera Bread isn't a bad place, the food is costly, but it's decent!

I hang out in my basement, spending 9838917357 hours playing video games with the door locked. Seriously.

I stay at home and play my vidya games. I'll be here for a while; I don't plan on participating in social gatherings until I beat every single game that I own. It's just me, my dad, and my sister here so it'd be hard for me to just take off every night anyway.

Providence Wrote:My friends moved to Oregon. That said, we used to jam in my friend Petahhh's basement, play Capture the Flag (manhunt meets flag football) in the Cumberland Monastery

capture the flag is probably one of the best physical games in the world. especially when you have a lot of space to play it in.

ontopic: my hangouts- home, school, work. most of my friends are off at different colleges/universities around the state. im not a real big meet-n-greet in my college classes.
