Error charging NX Credit

Ok so I've recently come back from a year long break from maplestory. I've been trying to charge NX with my paypal and I seem to be receiving some stupid error saying:

"System Error (Type:F0001) occurred. Please, select another payment method."

I receive this error right after I select Paypal as my payment method. I have yet to log into my paypal and it won't even give me a chance to log into paypal it just gives me the error.

Nexon doesn't seem to understand my situation. I sent in a ticket saying the following:

I seem to be unable to charge NX using Paypal. When prompt which method I would like to use to charge NX and after clicking Paypal, I receive an error that says the follow:

"System Error (Type:F0001) occurred. Please, select another payment method."

I have recently come back to Maplestory after a year long absence. Prior to my absence I had never had problems charging NX, and it saddens and discourages me that I have these new difficulties.

Please rectify my situation so I can enjoy the convenience of charging NX at home.

I am sorry to hear you have had trouble while trying to purchase NX Credit. We have implemented a verification system due to continued fraudulent charges. The error you received was because your transaction failed the verification process of this system.

When charging your Nexon Passport account with NX Credit make sure you are using real information and are not misrepresenting yourself or your payment method in any way. The use of a proxy service to get around region blocks as well as false PayPal account information will be detected and will be used as a basis to deny the attempted charge as fraudulent. We would suggest you contact PayPal to verify your billing information matches your geographical location.

Additionally, if you are using a Prepaid credit card, this may create conflicts with PayPal. If you believe this is the case, you will need to contact PayPal, which is a different company from Nexon.

If you are not able to use PayPal to charge your account with NX Credit we have other methods in place. Please visit this website for more information:

Ok so maybe I wasn't clear in my first ticket that I'm receiving the error before I log into paypal. So, I don't get how any of my paypal status could effect my problems since I cannot even log into paypal when charging. However, I still did as they said and checked all my paypal information and it was correct and accurate.

So I sent in a new ticket saying:

I believe my previous ticket was miss understood. When I receive my error (which says the following):

I have yet to log into Paypal. I receive this error right after I choose Paypal as a payment method. I do not understand how my Paypal status effects my ability to charge NX Credit as I receive the error before I log into Paypal.

However, I have checked my Paypal information as you stated to do in my previous ticket.
1. It is my real information and it is my real credit card. I am not miss representing myself in anyway.
2. I am not using a proxy service to get around region blocks. I live in the USA.
3. My billing information on Paypal matches my geological location.
4. I am not using a prepaid credit card.

I also checked my Nexon account information, and again it is my real information.

Again, as I stated before I am receiving this error BEFORE I am able to log into Paypal. It is after I click paypal as my payment method that I receive this error.

Please ensure that you are not using a proxy or other program that is causing your geographical location to be misrepresented. If you believe that this is a problem with your Internet Service Provider, you will need to contact that company.

Also note that it is recommended you make a purchase from the exact location listed on your Billing Address. Making a purchase from a different location may cause this warning.

Ok so I barely know what a proxy even is let alone how to use one. Could I some how be using a proxy by accident?

Like I said I took a year long break so I don't know when this error started. As of right now I'm trying to charge from the location listed on my paypal account, but in the past I have charged from my dorm room. Maybe that caused the problem?

I heard others were having the same or similar problems as me and I'm wondering if anyone has any solutions? T_T or has any insight in what to do, other than buying NX cards?

Well, that was useless on their part.
In the second one you basically said -
"My problem is G. I am not doing x, y and z."
Their response:
"We're sorry you're having problems with this. Please don't do x, y and z. We hope this helps!"
