Paradigm Shift
#1
you know, ive been debating this concept for a while, and though ive already got a good enough of an answer for myself and my life, i was curious on how SP viewed this phenomenae:

is it possible for one person to actively change their perceptions of self so dramatically that even their physical demeanor can be altered?

Well, there is the saying that after 30, you're responsible for your own face.

You'll also notice that people who tend to laugh have different wrinkles on their faces than from those who don't do so as often. So it's entirely possible for you to have an effect on your outside demeanor based on your personality.

Of course, most of these changes occur over pretty long periods of time, so you'll have to refine your definition of "dramatically". I mean, you're obviously not going to be able to will yourself taller, but you might be able to give off an appearance of being taller than you really are. So it depends.
