So browsing nexon forum, there was a huge argument over leeching. Then someone said "Leeching in it's own sense is prostitution, and is illegal in North America. =)"

It is illegal in Clark County. It is legal in all other counties in Nevada.

So everyone who wants to sell leech should be forced to move to Nevada.

I guess leeching should be considered a crime irl too.

I think this leeching hate is really getting out of hand.

Leeching is a service which is questionable to players that believe in playing Maple a certain way. But it is a SERVICE, and a virtual reality service to boot. There are countless other services in the world that exchange money for the service. Prostitution is not just a service, it is the bottom of the social gutter because it spreads venerial diseases, is only usually practiced by people with bad values and upbringing, and in many cases it causes men to cheat on their wives. It is inaccurate, and frankly dishonest, to compare something like that to leeching a pixellated character to high strength for pixellated money.

Prostitution IS a service, and where legal and protected there is nothing wrong with it. I personally don't believe in paying for sex, but its more of a pride thing than morals. A person that works with their body is not inferior to those lucky enough to work with their minds. The main issue with pristitution is that where illegal these women are exploited and abused. What's worse, most times they don't even make videos out of it and we miss the fun.

However saying that leeching and whoring are the same is rather silly.
