I believe you mean Victoria and Ossyria. At least that's what it says in the medal UI. I don't think I'll drop any of the medals unless someone can confirm that the medal count doesn't go down.

I believe that the "Cave of Life - Entrance" isn't the cave of life itself, but the map before it with the Cornian NPC, which pretty much everyone can enter, as long as they have enough HP/Dark Sight. It wouldn't make any sense if you had to be able to HTPQ (which would mean you're in the 4th job already, which means you already have the 4th job medal) to get a medal worse than the 4th job medal. On the other hand, this is Nexon I'm talking about but it won't hurt to try.

The count does not go down. I dropped 12 of my 14 medals and my count is still 14.

What I mean, though, is if for the maple explorer quest, can I drop the medals I keep getting, and still get the ossiria/vic ones even if I still don't hold the medals themselves, just showing I once had them on me.

I just got the Maple Adventurer and its severely nerfed. Its only +180 HP/MP not the godly amount that it should be

Yes, this works. I just got Victoria Island Explorer (which requires Beginner Explorer + Sleepywood Explorer), even with both medals dropped.

I'm 9/10 at Minar Forest and went to the Cave of Life-Entrance, and it didn't register. Someone I know that got the Minar Forest medal said he had to HTPQ for it to register.

And HTPQ is lvl 80+.

I still think having to do that for a medal that's only slightly better than the 3rd job advance medal is unfair.

I don't care, to lord around the Maple Explorer medal when I know others won't be as motivated to even attempt getting it makes it feel...nice

And trust me, you want that Secret Basement Path quest done anyway. Hunting Kimera for scrolls is worth more than the medals.

I know that. Actually, I have all the exploration medals except for Minar Forest, Ossyria and Maple Explorer.. for obvious reasons.

Just to confirm, you can drop the town-specific medals and still have them count toward maple explorer, right? And also, did you find any deviations at all in the Victoria one from the list in the first post?

You definitely can drop the medals, since it logs the quest needed for the next medal.

And the locations for the list in the post on the second page are accurate.

anyone else find it absolutely retarded that besides the incredibly hard PQ mania medal, that the best medal out there only requires that you train to 120? Even the quest specialist medal takes a back seat now being that the lvl 120 medal gives the HP/MP.

Yea me too. I just got my quest medal before the new medals. I don't really regret it, because now I only need 8 jump shoes to get max speed/jump, but it's pretty stupid. Also the explorer medal only having 180 hp is quite sad. They should have made it have at least a little bit more hp than the lvl 120 one, like 250 or so.
