My point is the fact that people think that's "enough," that it's "enough" to simply call; hell, it's MORE than "enough" to expend the ATP necessary to dial 9-1-1. The fact of the matter, however, is that 9-1-1 is not always there in time to fix a solution. How many thousands of people die every year because an ambulance didn't arrive in time to save a person? It's up to the people around the scene of an event like this to solve the problem, not sit their and videotape it for some gaming forum. While in the case of human health problems only the qualified should assist in resuscitation (ie. performing CPR only if you're CPR-certified)...

before it causes more damage. At people like this, however, I would just laugh if a fire like this occurred during a time of peak flammability, and in the time they thought they were safe as the fire department arrived the fire jumped to their house and started burning it down.

My point? People used to care about what was in their backyards; I guess now they only care about something if it directly affects them. How sad.

I'm glad that I can put out a fire of that magnitude without even harming myself. You know, a firefighter and a regular civilian - we're about the same. We even have the same gear to protect us against fires and we also have firetrucks which carry water. It's my hobby to own a firetruck. Yeah, we civilians are pretty similar when it comes to real, bona fide firefighters.

only the guy filiming beau and myself (at the end knew each other) the fire was never out of control some one had set fire to the playground, i could have called the fire dept but you know what they would have told me "oh yes we know about that we have sent some one out." i think you need to rethink some things.

i understand that alot of teenagers have this complex. but i am not a teenager.

im not sure about the US, but Trip 0 (our 911) is quite good, that said after they where called it still took them 10 minutes to get there, but like i said no one was in danger, i posted it to twitter witch took all off 1 second and i only made a topic on it because ironically i was about to make a topic about red faction in the gaming zone

FYI im a personal trainer, i am CPR, First Aid Lev 2, anaphylaxis/epi pen,Asthma and defib certified. but hey im not fire certified, but i think i can say that when a playground that is surrounded by a concrete path is on fire, and the fire dept is coming im confidant that we are safe 50 m away.
