Windows Media Help

So, I got some cd's and some of the songs are listed under their proper cd. When I go to put in the Cd info, everything goes well, except it puts the songs under a completely new listing... So then I have 2 places for the songs for one cd. Another problem i'm having is that there is like 2 album arts on the artist's name, when i only have one of their album's...

Any know any fixes? I want my library to be nice and complete, except this bothers me some.

I'd have a ton of problems with my music all the time. I eventually got MediaMonkey and erased all the ID3v1 and ID3v2 tags and started from stratch rebuilding my whole library. There's also a nifty function that will add all the info into the music including the Album Art.

Wow, how long did that take? I guess I could do it in a weekend or something.

Well my library wasn't that big to begin with. I basically hit CTRL+L in the program, it found the album and it's info, I hit auto-tag and it was done. If I had multiple songs from one album, I highlighted them all. I'd like to say it took like 2 hours for 150 songs. It's really not that hard though, MediaMonkey is the best I found for what I need.

Now, after I fix it in Mediamonkey, does it fix it in Media player? I like using player as it actually runs reasonably well on my computer.

MediaMonkey changes the ID3 tags. Those tags are what WMP reads. So, yes.
