Can't patch/start maple?

The timing is so bad! Yesterday during the patch and today I had nothing to do so I'm pretty bored atm! Hope I get it to work this weekend
Anyways, this is whats been happening since yesterday:

- I start Maple
- hackshield shows up & loads
- hackshield goes away
- instead of maple starting (or patch, because I'm still .75) nothing happens...

No error, nothing. If I open the ctrl+alt+del, I see HS disappear and maplestory.exe soon after that.

I tried
-> redownloading, but that is v.71, so it still needs to patch (were I think is the problem) so the same stuff happens.
-> manual patching: For .75 it seemed to work, but it got stuck at the end where it said "applying: Maplestory.exe" for a really long time (so I terminated afterwards). For v.71 it doesn't even starts and gets stuck in the first stage at "creating: base.wz"
-> turn off firewall

Some background info: I got windows XP, I'm logging in from europe, fast pc & internet, never had any problems with MS like lags or things like this, ...

I too had this problem but i fixed it.

I deleted my entire HShield folder and re-downloaded them off the nexon site, hopefully this will work for you too

I downloadeded .76 again now (before I red your post) and it works again . It probably was the HS-folder though like ^^^ said. Where could you dl only the hs folder (for future ref).
