XFire + Maple?
#1
Two things with this combination:

1) Xfire stuff isn't working.

At all. Not the web browser, not the chat browser, not even the screenshotter. I've tried it with Scroll Lock both on and off, and simultaneous button-pressing. Anyone here use Xfire with Maple?

2) Xfire kills my key setup.

I have Soul Rush set to my shift button on my DW, and Flash Jump to shift on my NW. If Xfire is on when I start Maple, it will trigger with buttons like up arrow, alt, ctrl, etc.

I have no idea how to fix this. Sad

First question : Do you have XFire in-game enabled / does XFire in-game appear when you start up Maple?

If you don't get XFire in-game at all, try taking a look at your options and look for the box that says, "Enable XFire In-game." If it's checked, leave it checked. If it isn't, check it. That may have solved your problem. Restart XFire and Maple and see if it works.

If that doesn't work, go to your 'Games' tab in the options and go to installed games after the thing detects your installed games. Once you see the 'Installed Games' list, check to make sure you see MapleStory in there. If it's there, click on it, click on "Manually Detect" and set it to your GMS folder. You may have to reboot MapleStory and XFire to get it working.

If the problem still persists, please, give me more detail. :X

The only solution I can find to this is to change your hotkeys for XFire in-game chat/browser/video/broadcast settings.

Trying to figure out how to fix the second issue besides switching my Maple hotkeys, because any other combination seriously doesn't work.

Thanks a bunch for the fix to the first problem, though. Smile
