O noes, my music!!! :(

Well I decided to reformat a couple of weeks ago, and was too lazy to partition anything and lost about 700 songs or so *Sad Face*

I knew I had everything on my iPod and figured I could use at as a USB of sorts to reobtain my songs back onto my computer. I looked it up on google and stuff, and all I've found are a bunch of programs to try. I'm hesitant just to go use a shady program, and was wondering if there is an easier way, or a credible program that I should use?

I have a second generation iTouch, which has no "Disc Mode" function that allows me to use it as a(n) storage device. Does anyone know of any programs that aren't going to make me pay to use it? Or am I just going to be stuck paying for it? :3

Perhaps I should clarify: I'm looking for a program or technique to extract the existing songs from my iPod, back into my itunes. Something to add, my iPod is an iPod Touch, thus there is no "Disc Mode" for it. Which I guess means I'm fucked outside of using a program, lol.
