What will probably be the Aran cookie cutter skill build?

Guys, Aran is an easy class. I mean, don't make builds before you know how skills work. The best thing is what I did. When I advanced, I got 1 point into everything I could. Then, I decided, and maxed first what was more obviously useful.

Don't rely on guides... Especially CrazyLazy's one. It's a really bad build...

Mind correcting us. I want to know why and what we're wrong about.

Few tips. I think Final Toss is better than rolling spin. Rolling spin is like that skill NLs have that push mobs away on both sides of them, and you don't move. I already find final toss to be highly useful because it adds a nice damage boost while they are in the air. Other than that, I'd say the point allocation on IllegallySane's part is fine, but I might have missed a few things.

For CrayLazy's guide, I wouldn't follow it for 3rd job. Rigu went with combo critical first, and me/Andy did final swing first. At kents, combo smash trains you really well anyways. I am finally going to start on snow charge now that I am level 85. Combo critical + final swing are just really good skills for kents.

But, like Rigu, I don't want to put forth the effort to fix every mistake in this thread.

EDIT: Don't follow the last part of the 2nd job portion of CrazyLazy's guide. Level 21 final take is fine, and you rely heavily on drain later. Just quit following the guide after he states that you should max body pressure.

While i do enjoy the though of final toss, and i do agree with everything so far, i feel the need to point out the fact that we have mobbier spots than KMS. Crit first might be viable, but i'm just speculating here. I'd personally do 1 toss, 1 crit, and max full swing first.

Critical first might be a good idea. I know that critical replaced the need fir me to use combo smash to train efficiently. I think I get about the same experience using either method.

What about snow charge? Does it work the same way as every other elemental charge as far as damage reduction/boosts go?

I'll give you feedback as I level the skill. It is currently level 3. I wouldn't ask me though, ask the number guys to get numbers and I'll check them.

Yeah guys, don't pay attention to my "guide" at all. Really hard to make one for myself when I get no chance to play the class. Good thing that many errors are being pointed out =). Can't wait till Aran are released in GMS Heart

Would max drain keep you alive at himes?

I would say pretty likely, considering how easy it would be to keep a combo up there.
Maybe.

With a large enough mob, yes.
