Crimsonwood Trees.

Can some tell me how long it takes for these things to spawn, and all the maps they spawn on?

Lower Ascent and Path of Strength. There are 4 on LA and 5 on the Path. those are the only ones in the game. yeah it sucks really bad.

I tried hunting these once, gave up after like 5 trees lol. They take quite a while to spawn (15+ minutes?) so you'll have to channel surf.

Seriously though, just buy your crimson weapon from a gachaponer. You'll probably want to kill yourself (or nexon) halfway through.

Meh. I rather go through hell instead of spending 75 million on a weapon that I'm only going to 60%.

I hunted 400 Crimson Wood for an Arcanon a while ago, and my estimation is around 5~15 wood per channel cycle, sometimes you get only 3 wood from 19 channels (95 trees), sometimes you get 3 wood out of 5 trees in one channel..

I didn't bother using 2x/4x drop so it took a while. If I had been steadily hunting, it would've taken around 1 whole month, but since I gave it up at around 3xx wood for a period of time, it took muchhhhhh longer, but yea, 1 month considering my patience/time.

EDIT: You can keep cycling channels but each cycle has to have about a 10 minute break, which gets you very tempted to call it a day..

you don't even need to buy, just ask the people to hold onto it for you. Half the time they were just letting it disappear so they'll usually hold onto it until you come around again. I got a lot of free wood this way. Of course, when i was doing this Lower Ascent wasn't a popular spot yet so there weren't many people training up there. the fact that so many people train there now will make wood collecting even harder.

They should make a pure-spawn tree map off the courtyard in the keep. that would make it a lot better...

Farming that stuff sucks, but if you get all the materials yourself, you have my kind of patience =P

Spent 12-15 levels at Lower Ascent before it was popular, surfed channels a lot, got 50 crimsonwood... traded a clean Arcglaive for under 20mil of items. Screw forging.
